2017 Bond Election

Roadmap to BISD 2025 Logo
Belton ISD is a fast-growth school district.

We grew by more than 3,000 students in the last decade and are projected to add about 3,600 students in the next ten years. As a result, our elementary and middle schools will be at or near capacity by 2019 and our high schools by 2021.

By 2025, we’ll have more than 14,000 students.

Over the past four years, we have studied the district’s facilities, held listening sessions, and worked with a committee of parents, teachers and community members. The result is a plan that we’re calling the Roadmap to BISD 2025.

I hope that you’ll take a moment to learn about our plan and then vote. Early voting begins on April 24, and Election Day is Saturday, May 6.

Thank you,

Susan Kincannon, Ed.D.
Superintendent

  • New Traffic Patterns at NBMS

As many of you may already know; Prairie View was closed for the entire 15-16 school year, but is open for the new school year.  The attached map will show you how our traffic pattern should look.  All entrances for parents will be off of Prairie View and the Westfield lane will be exit only.  You are welcome to pull in and drive the drop-off/pick-up route! We will let you know if there are changes.  Striping has taken place with arrows so hopefully parents will train quickly!  Ha (You didn't know that parents would be trained before the students!)  Thanks for your patience as we all get used to the new routine.
