Jason Carothers grew up in the Central Texas area and graduated from Tarleton State University (Stephenville) in 1992. Jason was a teacher/coach in White Settlement ISD on the west side of Fort Worth before moving back to the Belton area in 1995. Joining with his family, Jason began his building and development career in the Killeen area and in 2003 began building in Belton and Temple. Jason and his wife, Jamie, work together in the business today continuing the long "family tradition" of building. They have three children attending school in Belton ISD.
Jason is a past president of the Central Texas Home Builders Association and a two-time president of the Temple Area Builders Association. He also served as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Temple and continues to serve on several professional and community boards throughout Belton and Temple.
Jason contributes the great success of Belton ISD to strong leadership and great community support and believes "schools are the backbone of the community."
