AVID Community Service Project

The AVID students are participating in Lack’s Christmas tree decorating contest and canned-good drive for their fall community service project.  The students made Christmas ornaments to use to decorate their tree at the store where they are competing against other groups in the area.  Customers vote on their favorite trees, but instead of ballots, canned goods are used to score points.  The students are collecting canned goods until mid-December to place under their tree.  Anyone wanting to donate can send canned goods to room A-17 or visit Lack's showroom.
