Chloe Bush, Allan Harlow, Joseph Hermann and Andres Zapata took first place in the TeamWorks event at the 2017 SkillsUSA National Student Leadership Conference held this week in Louisville, KY. The parliamentary procedures team of Gabriel Alvarado-Pereyra, Heath Grace, Mikayla Parker, Hailey Peace, Jordan Ross and Jeffrey Trowell also placed fourth in the Chapter Business Procedure contest at nationals.
This week, two teams of Belton High School students are in Louisville, KY for the 2017 SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference. While at the career and technical education competition, the 10 students will compete for titles in parliamentary procedure and construction trades events.
Belton and Temple ISD are joining together for an employee incentive program (Perks for Paws) that will provide a variety of benefits for district employees.
