Technology

labTechnology is an integrated tool for today's student. We have four computer labs at Belton Middle School. Using mostly Dell computers, students utilize the labs for various activities. 

In Comp. Lab I, Mrs. Ilene Ward and Mr. David Simmons teach a comprehensive course of keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheet, powerpoint and drawing skills. Student projects are enhanced by adding slide shows and graphics. The  students use programs such as Microsoft Office  and Microtype Pro to facilitate their learning experience. We promote student independence and allow individual creativity to enhance the program.  

Comp. Lab II is for BCIS primarily, but other classes utilize this lab for Larson’s Math, Accelerated Reader, and research.  

Comp. Lab III and IV are primarily used for internet and research projects. They are both mobile labs, with Dell laptops on one cart and Apple iBooks on the other.
