About BEEF
The Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation was founded in 1991 as an independent, nonprofit corporation established by friends of BISD.
The purpose of BEEF is to enhance the quality of education for all students in BISD.
The BEEF is governed by an elected Board of Directors who represent various segments of the Belton community.
The board's primary purpose is to work together with the district to ensure student success. The Board over-sees an endowment fund that will provide an ongoing source of funding to enhance the opportunities for students and staff of BISD.
Foundation Goals
The Belton Foundation will encourage academic excellence in the Belton Independent School District with the following:
- Encourage donations yearly to be used to maintain our current program of awarding scholarships for deserving Belton High Schools graduates.
- Provide funds for innovative academic programs in the Belton Independent School District schools.
- Acknowledge and reward exemplary teaching.
- Providing an avenue for bussiness and community members as well as school district personnel and alumini to enhance the education process.
- Promote public awareness of the school district successful programs and the achievement of exccellence.
- Grow an endowment that will sustain the awarding of annual scholarships.

Other scholarships maybe established as designated funds become available.
Students from Belton High School or Waskow High School may apply for different scholarships. Each applicant must meet specific criteria for the scholarship of their choice. Scholarships are applied for through the counseling department and are awarded to students in May of their senior year. Persons wishing to establish a one-time or continuing scholarship in a loved one's name may do so with a $250 minimum donation.
