CourthouseBelton is located in the heart of Central Texas, just 60 miles north of Austin and 40 miles south of Waco on I-35. With over 15,000 residents, Belton is the county seat of Bell County, and the home of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, which has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best liberal arts colleges in the nation. A historic downtown district surrounds the county courthouse and university campus. Two lakes and many parks make Belton a great place to explore the outdoors.
