District-Level Planning & Decision-Making Process

DWEIC Survey

Districtwide Educational Improvement Council

The Board of Trustees has adopted a policy to establish a district-level planning and decision-making process that involves the professional staff of the District, parents of students enrolled in the District, business representatives, and community members. This local committee is called the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council (DWEIC).

The primary purpose of the DWEIC is to establish and review the District’s educational plans, goals, performance objectives, and major classroom instructional programs. The Council is advisory in nature and approves district-level professional development and incentive pay plans.
