Mr. Williams teaches Video Game Design and Digital Media at Belton New Tech High School @Waskow. He also adores his family -- wife of 12 years and his three young boys.
After earning a degree in Computer Graphics and Art from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Mr. Williams started his professional career as a graphic designer, web designer, and glass artisan for Coyote Glass Design in Salado, TX. Five years later, he transitioned into education with the hope of inspiring students to embrace creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. His educational career began in Killeen ISD teaching Digital Graphics to high school students in the Career and Technology department, and as an Instructional Technologist helping teachers integrate technology into their curriculum.
Mr. Williams is now teaching at Belton New Tech High and is incorporating cutting edge technologies such as virtual reality and 3D modeling/animation into the Video Game Design program.
Mr. Williams spends most of his spare time thinking of crazy inventions and business ideas. He invented a product that was featured on Wired.com, Gizmodo, and SkyMall magazine. He spends the other parts of his life hitting his head on doorways and light fixtures, playing disc golf, and dunking over people on the basketball court.
