Kathy Lovelace

My name is Kathy Lovelace. I am the Librarian at Leon Heights Elementary. I have lived in Belton most of my life and  I’m a graduate of Belton High School. I earned my undergraduate degree in Home Economics Education with a minor in  Business from Tarleton State University. I also have an Early Childhood Endorsement and taught Kindergarten and Pre-K for 14 years before earning my Masters in Library Science from Sam Houston State. This is my fifth year in the library and I love sharing the joy of reading with students, parents, and staff. I am married to Tommy and we have two children – Kallie and Garrett.
