Hello, I am Kimberly Beshansky and I am teaching first grade. This is my seventh year at Miller Heights and my ninth year as a certified teacher. I have lived in several states and four countries abroad, but this native Texan keeps coming back to the best place in the world.  My husband, Lubec, is currently serving  in Iraq with the Texas National Guard.  I have a daughter, Danielle who is married and getting her degree in Spanish studies.  My son, Mikel is also married and presented me with my first grandchild, Mason Mikel Carter in September.  Thankfully my children waited until after my 50th birthday to make me “Bubbe Beshansky” In my classroom I strive to create a community environment where we count on each other  daily.  I believe that every student should receive opportunities for success and feel like a valuable member of the classroom.
