My name is Kristie Blattner. I graduated from Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. I have been married  to my husband James Blattner for 6 years and have two beautiful children; Jason who is 5 and Rylee Ann who is 17 mo. old. This is my fourth year Teaching Pre-K at Miller Heights. Having the opportunity to work with the children and staff here is a gift that I treasure each and every day.

Hello!  My name is London Yepez and this is my first year teaching Kindergarten at Miller Heights.  I am very excited about the 2008-2009 school year.  We have many adventures ahead of us.  I am eager to see what wonderful progress each child can make.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I am a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University.  I have been married to Sean Yepez for almost 11 years now and we have 2 beautiful girls, Taylor who is Kindergarten at Miller Heights and Erin who is 9 months old.  We enjoy spending quality time with our amazing girls, traveling, and scrapbooking.  I hope to make a scrapbook of my first year as a Kindergarten teacher at Miller Heights.  I am very excited to be apart of the Miller Heights team of learners!

Hello! My name is Candace Rackley.  I am excited to start my new journey as a kindergarten teacher.  The thing I love the most about teaching is seeing the children’s “lights go on” when they understand what they are being taught. It is my desire to be the best teacher I can be by loving each child and pushing them to do their very best.  I strive to have a positive impact on each child that comes through my classroom doors.

Hi!  My name is Terry Wright and this is my 13th year teaching kindergarten. I believe strongly that all children can succeed.  I am excited about the 2008-2009 school year! Let me tell you a little about myself.  My bachelor’s degree is from UMHB.  I have a master’s degree in Reading Education, also from the UMHB.  Currently I am working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership.  My field of interest is reading in the early childhood setting.  Bill Wright, the music teacher at Miller Heights, and I have been married for 32 years.  We have four grown children and one wonderful grandson.  Most of our time is spent going to school, but we manage to squeeze in quality time with family and friends.  Teaching is my passion!  I am blessed to be a part of the awesome team at Miller Heights Elementary!
