Rana Young
Welcome to our art room. It is my intention to enhance and expand what our students are learning in the classroom and to provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment for students to learn and experiment with many artistic mediums. I believe that when children are taught to look at the world around them through “artist” eyes, suddenly the world becomes a much more colorful, lively and interesting place…and, maybe, they will want to add their own artistic mark to it. Our art curriculum follows the Texas Education of Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) guidelines and promotes creative expression, aesthetic perception, art history and culture and art criticism. Rana Young Art teacher Art Fundraiser All art fundraiser packets are due on Wednesday, October 22. Please include your student’s artwork, order form and money in the original plastic bag. If you choose not to order, please return the child’s artwork to the school for display. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Young at rana.young@bisd.net.
