Hi,
My name is Rhonda Fincher and I am the Librarian at Tarver and Tyler Elementary. I am a graduate of Temple College and The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education with Reading Specialization. I have been in education for 18 years. I have taught 3rd grade and Pre-K and became a certified librarian in 2000.
My husband Rodney and I have been married for 21 years and have 4 wonderful children-Haley 16, Kaylin 12, Trevor 7, and Kendall 6. I have the most wonderful job because I get to read to the children and help them pick out interesting books to read.

Hello,
My name is Mary Beth Franklin and I am the Library Media Assistant at Tarver Elementary. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University where I also later earned my Masters in Education specializing in reading instruction. I spent 2 years working in Title 1 in the Kentucky schools before spending 8 years as an Instructor/Director of Sylvan Learning Centers, helping students af all ages achieve success.
After marrying my wonderful husband, Ronnie, I had 2 beautiful children 14 months apart and took time off to be a mom. I recently returned to Education last November upon relocating to Texas and taught 1st/2nd grade in a private school. I heard wonderful things about Belton Schools and my children are very excited to start their school careers at the brand new Tarver Elementary. I look forward to watching student's excitement and growth in reading as they come to the library to check out books.
