Hello,
My name is Debi Handley. I am proud to be Tarver Elementary's first School Nurse. My nursing experience began in Critical Care in 1989 in several hospitals, cities & states. This is my 14th year as a school nurse with Belton ISD, having served at Belton High School starting in 1995, then at Lakewood Elementary for the past 10 years.
I am married to my wonderful husband Shawn and have 2 superb children. Chris, 17, is a Sr. at Belton High School and Sarah, 15, is in 9th grade at Lake Belton Middle School. I am a 1980 graduate of Belton High School & continue with that Tiger Pride!!
I will screen your child's vision & hearing each year. I will screen each 5th grader for scoliosis. I will inform you if there are any new requirements for immunizations or if your child requires boosters to remain up-to-date.
