 Hi,

  My name is April Lewis and I am so glad to be teaching at Tarver!  I graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Special Education and minor in Early Childhood Development.  I have a wonderful husband and super cute twin boys who are four years old.  We also hava a dog, Katie, and two horses, Sadie and Tornado.  I enjoy camping with my family, baking, riding my horse and playing with my kids.

  I'm honored to be able to teach Kindergarten again.  It is such a fun age where everthing is enchanting and we get to do lots of active learning.  Each year I learn as much as the students and I love finding new ways to help them reach their goals.  This will be a great year and I look forward to what it has in store for our class!

Hello,

My name is Dana McAlister and it is my honor to serve you and your children this year at Tarver Elementary.  I live in Belton with my husband and four year old son.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from SouthWest Texas State University in 2000. My experience ranges from teaching first grade at a performing arts school in Austin to teaching Pre-K in Troy ISD, and finally to three years(so far) with BISD. I also had the privilege of spending three years at home with my son. I am passionate about teaching Kindergarten and I hope to provide you and your children with a positive and fulfilling year full of learning. Please come and visit anytime!
