Mary Ling, Social Studies Teacher

Mrs. Ling grew up on the East Coast, but moved to Texas just as fast as she could! She taught in Dallas ISD for 11 years as a Reading Specialist, and moved from Dallas to Belton the first year Waskow opened in 1999!

She teaches Social Studies courses, Reading II and III, Art History, Parenting and Child Development.

Her Bachelors Degree in History and English is from the University of Texas at Arlington, and she received her Masters Degree from Texas Wesleyan University in Reading Specialization.

She is married to Tom Ling, who was her high school sweetheart. They have four grown children, and presently, seven grandchildren.

Her hobbies include reading, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
