Mrs. Cindy Meredith has been involved with Waskow since its inception.
Currently she is the Sophomore and Senior English instructor.
Cindy Meredith has 24 years of teaching experience. She is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She served as the first Vocational Adjustment Coordinator for the Bell County Co-op for Exceptional Children. She has taught as an elementary resource classroom instructor in Point Comfort, Texas; as a classroom instructor at the Metropolitan Alternative Learning Center in Waco, Texas; and as an English instructor at Belton High School.
From 1991-1999 she served as the Fast Track Learning Center Coordinator. From 1996 until 1999 she implemented the Diploma Program at Belton High School which would evolve into Henry T. Waskow High School in the fall of 1999.
Her professional honors include:
- Belton ISD Secondary Educator of the Year: 2002 and 2007
- Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers: 1992, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004
- Central Texas Council of Governments Educator of the Year: 1991, 1992, 1999
- Belton Area Chamber of Commerce BISD Teacher of the Year: 1992
