• Belton ISD is offering all students opportunities to stay excited about learning through the summer months. We hope you'll take advantage of these academic programs, athletic camps and resources throughout June and July. 

Academic Programs

  • ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

    Open to all Kinder-5th graders - June 3-18 & 20 (no Fridays) from 7:30am-12:15pm

    All elementary programs will be held at Chisholm Trail Elementary. Transportation to Chisholm Trail from a student’s home campus will be available except for STEM and Humanities camp arrival. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost.

    Summer Adventures in Learning (SAIL)

    • Current K-5th grade students
    • June 3-18 & 20 (no Fridays) from 7:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. 
    • Reading, writing and math lessons + 2 enrichment courses (K-4)
      Reading, writing, math and science lessons + 1 enrichment course (5)
    • GT strand for all K-5 GT students.

    STEM Camp

    Enrollment for the 2024 STEM Camp is currently full. You may join the wait list at: https://forms.gle/TNjhnJQiMJexeqWv8. Please note that any waitlist students will only be notified if a student unenrolls or does not show up on the first day.

    Humanities Camp

    MIDDLE SCHOOL

    The middle school summer program will be held at South Belton Middle School. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost. More information about transportation options will be available soon.     Seizing Opportunities, Achieving Results (SOAR)

    • Current 6th-8th grade students
    • June 3-18 & 20 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (no Fridays)
    • Students will strengthen their reading, writing, science and math skills in a fun, interactive way so that they feel confident transitioning to the next grade level.

    Algebra Readiness

    This program, held June 3-18 & 20-27 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (no Fridays), is focused on students transitioning to Algebra I. It is available to students who meet one of the following criteria:

    • Current on-level 7th grade students who would like to move to the advanced math track and take Algebra in 8th grade
    • Current advanced 7th grade students who would benefit from intervention prior to 8th grade Algebra
    • Current on-level 8th grade students who would benefit from intervention prior to 9th grade Algebra

    HIGH SCHOOL

    High school summer programs will be held at Lake Belton High School. Transportation to LBHS from a student’s home campus will be available. The schedule will be released later this spring.     Credit Recovery and PE

    • June 3-18 & 20 from 8:00-11:00 a.m. (no Fridays)
    • Credits will be recovered or earned through the online platform Edgenuity. Students can come to campus for support from content-specific teachers or work from home with approval from the home campus.
    • Students may recover as many courses as they can during these 11 days.

    CPR Graduation Credit

    • Incoming 10th-11th grade students

    EOC Boot Camp

    Students who are in need of retesting a STAAR end-of-course exam may sign up for an EOC Boot Camp:

    Attendance Recovery

    This opportunity is for students who are in need of making up attendance hours for credit/graduation. This is in person.

    • Texas College Bridge for Math and/or Reading
      • Incoming Seniors that have not met TSI
      • June 3-18 & 20 (no Fridays)
      • Great opportunity to receive TSI and CCMR credit
      • Entrance requirement met for 60 plus TX colleges/universities 
    • Temple College TSIA Boot Camp
      • Any student that needs TSIA for dual credit or college entrance
