During her 22 years in education, Cynthia Bode has served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal and associate principal. Her most recent role was as Assistant Director of Student Support Services in Leander ISD. She earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology/nutrition from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she also ran cross country, and then went on to earn a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She and her husband, Zane, have two daughters in college.
