    Superintendent collaborating with students

The Belton ISD Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is an exciting program designed to strengthen communication between students and district leadership. This unique experience allows high school students the opportunity to influence district decisions, while providing Dr. Golden and district administrators with valuable student perspectives on a variety of school-related issues. Here’s what this group offers:

    • Student Empowerment: Students have a platform to voice their opinions and ideas, impacting real change in their schools.
    • Direct Communication: Students engage in meaningful dialogue with the Superintendent and district leaders.
    • Insightful Collaboration: District administrators gain valuable student insights on key topics.

    Meeting Schedule:
SSAC will meet twice each semester, alternating locations between the high schools and the central office. Meetings will be held from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, with lunch and transportation provided for those who need it.
