Belton ISD values the support and engagement of our community. We strive to keep our community informed about all of the great things happening here at BISD.

We are currently hosting a Financial Ambassador Program. Our purpose is to educate our community about the fundamentals of school finance and provide insight into the financial operations of the school district. 

This is a three-part series: 

• April 1, 2024: A general overview of district financial operations and an introduction to the instructional programs supported by school funding.
• April 30, 2024: An in depth look at school district funding formulas, tax rate and budget adoption and staffing allocations.
• May 30, 2024: An in depth look at the budget process, revenue projections, tax rate calculations and notices and State funding settle-up.
