Belton ISD's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are designed to prepare students for college and career readiness. We credit this success to strong support by BISD's Board of Trustees and Superintendent in providing resources necessary for quality programs for BISD students.
Our students are entering a highly competitive workforce and must be able to integrate and apply 21st century skills, technical knowledge and skills, and core academic knowledge. Belton ISD connects you to academics and training that will help you be successful in the future by placing an emphasis on real world and real life skills. Our goal is that every Belton ISD student will graduate from high school globally competitive for work and post-secondary education and prepared for life in the 21st century.
We are actively staying abreast of current trends in business and industry. We strive for continuous improvement efforts and embrace our quality instructional partnerships with business and industry. These partnerships give students a chance to spend time in practicum programs as paid or unpaid interns. Members of the BISD family, parents, and our business and post-secondary partners work together to provide the relevant experiences necessary to enhance our students’ future successes. BISD Career and Technical Education is a great way for students to prepare for the highly technological and competitive workplace of the 21st Century.
