Project Update - June 2024

The 2022 Bond included funding for the purchase of additional buses.

Belton ISD’s first order of buses arrived in 2023 and began transporting students during the 2023-24 school year. 

The first purchase included: 

• 15 Route Service buses, each with a 77-student capacity
• 5 Special Needs buses, each with a 54-student capacity

June 2024 Update: Belton ISD placed a second bus order in 2024. All buses have arrived and will be in use for the 2025-2026 school year. 

The second purchase includes:

• 8 Route Service buses, each with a 77-student capacity
• 2 Special Needs buses, each with a 54-student capacity
