Saddle up for Convocation 2026!

The trail to a new school year begins here! Join your Big Red Family for Convocation 2026 as we celebrate who we are, where we've been and the exciting journey ahead.

This year's western-themed event, "Rooted in Values. Inspired to Reach New Horizons," will bring together Belton ISD staff for an afternoon of celebration, inspiration and connection as we kick off another incredible year of serving each and every student.

🕐 Doors Open: 1:00 p.m. | Convocation Begins: 2:00 p.m.

Dust off your boots, grab your hat and join us as we blaze the trail toward another unforgettable year in Belton ISD!

Here’s what's on the trail:

  • A western-themed welcome and exciting entertainment
  • Inspiring messages from district leadership as we look to the year ahead
  • A celebration of our Campus Teachers of the Year
  • Moments that honor our roots while inspiring us to reach new horizons

Transportation to UMHB

Buses will arrive five minute early to each Campus. PLEASE remember your bus number as you are exiting the bus for Convocation. After Convocation is over, make your way across the street As Soon As Possible to load buses. We need to clear the UMHB Campus as quickly as possible.

11:30am - Bus #100 = BHS Drumline

12:45pm = Hubbard Branch, picking up in front of school

12:45pm = Southwest and South Belton Middle School, picking up in front of school

12:50pm = Chisholm Trail Elementary School, picking up by cafeteria doors

1:00pm = Administration/6th Street, please meet at the administration building by 12:55pm

1:00pm = James L. Burrell Elementary School, picking up in front of school

1:00pm Lake Belton Middle School, picking up at the bus loop

1:00pm = Support Services, picking up in front

1:05pm = Sparta Elementary School, picking up at the bus loop

1:10pm = Joe M. Pirtle Elementary, picking up in front of school

1:10pm = Lake Belton High School, picking up in front of school

1:15pm = Belton High School, picking up in front of school

1:15pm = Lakewood Elementary School, picking up at the bus loop

1:15pm = Tarver Elementary School, picking up at cafeteria doors

1:15pm = Charter Oaks Elementary School, picking up at the bus loop

1:20pm = High Point Elementary School, picking up by cafeteria door
