District Unassigned Emergency Epinephrine Autoinjector Information

As of October 1, 2020, Belton ISD maintains at least one unassigned adult epinephrine auto-injector pack (two doses) at all campuses and one unassigned pediatric epinephrine auto-injector pack (two doses) at all elementary school campus.

School personnel who are trained and authorized may administer an unassigned epinephrine auto-injector to a person who is reasonably believed to be experiencing anaphylaxis on a school campus.

Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening allergic reaction that may involve multiple body systems. This is a medical emergency that requires immediate intervention and treatment.
