Counseling & Academic Advising
The purpose of the comprehensive school counseling program is to empower all students to reach their full potential by supporting their academic, social-emotional, and career development through a proactive and preventative program that fosters a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment. All Belton ISD campuses are staffed with full-time school counselors. School counselors meet the needs of students based on alignment with district goals and a unified belief in the mission and vision of the Belton Independent School District. It integrates Academic, Social-Emotional, and Career Development so that students will be able to demonstrate competencies in interpersonal and intrapersonal effectiveness, post-secondary planning and career readiness, and personal health and safety.
