Meeting the Needs of the District:
Our technology department is dedicated to expanding and upgrading our infrastructure to exceed the demands of an ever-changing landscape. We create a strategic, proactive blueprint for the future, paving the way to success for all stakeholders in Belton ISD. This plan not only prioritizes innovative classroom success but also focuses on building the safest and most efficient environments for all students, teachers, administrators, and support staff. Our Responsibilities:
Technology Infrastructure is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of:
  • District Telephony: Maintaining reliable communication systems, including phone lines and intercoms.
  • Public Address and Emergency Notification Systems: Ensuring effective communication during emergencies and announcements.
  • Access Control and Security Cameras: Enhancing safety and security through access control systems and surveillance.
  • Centralized Compute and Storage: Providing efficient and secure data storage and processing capabilities.
  • Network Switching and Routing: Maintaining a robust and reliable network infrastructure.
  • Network Security and Cybersecurity: Implementing comprehensive security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Email and Account Lifecycle Management: Managing user accounts and email services.
  • Internet Access: Ensuring reliable and filtered internet access for all users.
  • Legal Compliance with Content Filtering: Complying with legal requirements for content filtering and online safety.
