Belton ISD 1:1 Initiatives
The mission of Belton Independent School District is to provide an education that challenges every student to excel. Even before the doors opened to our first 1:1 campuses in August of 2011, plans were being made to provide new, innovative models of instruction. The goal of our digital learning program is to provide students with the opportunity to learn skills that are essential to success including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
Our planning and efforts are paying off! We have expanded our 1:1 device initiative to include 4th and 5th grade students. With the implementation of our mobile device management system, continuation of our learning management system Atlas Homeroom, and the use of digital textbooks in our classrooms Belton ISD is preparing digitally literate students to live, learn, and lead in an ever-changing global economy.
