Project Update - September 2024

The 2022 Bond included funding for a Band Hall addition, repurposing the existing band hall to serve the Orchestra Program. It also included new restrooms, concessions, locker rooms for pre-athletics, and a training room for campus athletics, reducing the district’s dependence on long-term portable buildings to accommodate existing programs and new students.
 
Following the passage of the 2022 Bond, the district collaborated with stakeholders to identify program requirements. 

September 2024 Update: The band hall addition, new girls athletic locker room, boys pre-athletic locker rooms, and new training room reached contractual substantial completion prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year and are in full operation.  Renovations to the existing building are also substantially complete, including new painting in all existing classrooms and corridors, new corridor flooring, and new HVAC systems throughout the building. Construction crews are wrapping up punch list items and commissioning of new HVAC systems. The project is on target to reach contractual final completion and closeout in the next 60-90 days.
