Belton ISD’s mission is to provide an education that challenges every student to excel. Located in Bell County, the district’s boundaries encompass 198.6 square miles.
The District is led by a Board of Trustees elected by the community and led by Sue M. Jordan, Board of Trustees President, and by Dr. Susan Kincannon, Superintendent of Schools.
Belton Independent School District currently serves over 11,521 students on 15 campuses. They reside in the City of Belton, Morgan's Point Resort, part of the City of Temple, and unincorporated areas of Bell County.
Belton is located in Bell County in the heart of Central Texas, just 60 miles north of Austin and 40 miles south of Waco on I-35. Belton's close-knit community provides support for the school district and our students.
