A Note From Our PrincipalJoe Brown
Welcome to North Belton Middle School. I am excited to share a little information about our school. We have high academic, behavioral, and extra-curricular expectations for our students. We want our students to exhibit “Tiger Pride.” Our mission is to provide an education that challenges all of our students. Our staff will work to ensure the district motto, “Every Kid a Winner.”
Our school day starts at 8:20 and ends at 3:55. Tutorials are offered before school beginning at 7:48. Should that teacher be on duty, the student is encouraged to attend tutorials of another grade level teacher in that subject. Tutorials are mandatory for students making below 70 in any core subject. Students will have a variety of electives to choose from including Art, Athletics, AVID, Band, BCIS, Choir, Computer Literacy, Gadgets and Gizmos, Orchestra, Partners’ PE, PE, Spanish, Teen Leadership, and Theater Arts. *Note: Students may be taken out of an elective and placed into a Math/Reading enrichment class based upon previous year’s assessment scores.
We encourage all of our students to be actively involved with the school. There are different clubs and organizations for them to join. It is our goal that the middle school experience is a fun and positive one. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to drop by the school or call me at (254) 215-2800.Joe Brown, Principal
