New Student Enrollment for Current Families

If you currently have one or more students enrolled in Belton ISD, you can add additional students using your existing Skyward Family Access account.

Enrollment Steps

STEP ONE: Gather Required Documents

STEP TWO: Sign into your Skyward Family Access account

Login to your Skyward Family Access account: Skyward Family Access
Enter your login ID and Password
- If you are not able to login to your Family Access account, contact your campus registrar for help.
- If you do not have students currently enrolled in Belton ISD, you will need to follow the instructions for New to District Families on the Belton ISD Enrollment page: www.bisd.net/enrollment
Click Sign In.
Your Family Access account will open.

STEP THREE: Complete the Online Enrollment Forms

After signing in to your Skyward Family Access account, find the "New Student Online Enrollment" link.

On the top left corner, click the button that says “New Student Online Enrollment”.
You will be taken to the Online Enrollment Access window.
Click the button that says “Click to Enroll Additional Students”.
You will be taken into the New Student Enrollment Application Form where you can begin completing the application.

Application Form

The New Studnet Enrollment: Application Form looks like the sample below. Please note the following:

Use the top orange buttons to save your progress, print your application, or leave without saving.
Each step has a Save and a Save and Collapse button. Use these to save the steps.
Require fields are marked witha a red astrisk *
Each form has a Google Translate option close to the top of the page. Use this to translate the pages if needed.

The application has six required steps:

Step 1: Student Information.
Step 2: Family/Guardian Information
Step 3: Medical/Dental Information
Step 4: Emergency Contact Information
Step 5: Requested Documents
Step 6: Additional District Forms

Completing the Steps

You are require to complete each step in the New Student Enrollmen application. You can save your progress and leave the application. You can then start back where you left off.

All required fields are marked with a red asterisk *.
When you complete each step, click the "Complete Step" button at the bottom of the step.
If you need to save and come back to a step, use “Save” or “Save and Collapse Step” at the top of the step.
If you need to exit the application and return to complete the remainder of the steps, click the “Save and Go to Summary Page” button at the bottom or top of the screen. Your work will be saved for the next time you log back in.

Further explanations for each step are provided below.

STEP 1 : Student Information

Provide all requested information about the student. This section includes legal name, date of birth, address, and other identifying details. Please enter the student's legal name exactly as it appears on official documents.

DATES OF ENROLLMENT:

On the Dates of Enrollment section, be sure to select the correct Enrollment Date.

Select the correct School Year you are enrolling in.

If you are enrolling for the current school year, enter the date you expect your student to start school.
If you are enrolling for the next school year, select Next School Year and check First Day of School

Select the expected grade level and school.

Use the Find My Child’s School to open the School Finder website.
Then enter your student’s address to find the school in your attendance zone.

If you are enrolling for 2025-2026, you must select Next School Year (2025-2026)

STEP 2: Family/Guardian Information

Provide complete contact information for the student's parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Include names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. If the student resides with more than one guardian, provide information for all guardians.

ALL PARENT/GUARDIANS AT ONE ADDRESS

If your child’s parent/guardians live at the same address, you will enter your address and name information first, and then use the button that says “Yes, I want to Add another Legal Guardian who lives at this address.” You will then only have to enter name/relationship details for the second and additional parent/guardians who are at the same address. When you have completed entering all guardians living at the same address, click the button that says “No other Legal Guardians live at this Address”

PARENT/GUARDIANS AT MULTIPLE ADDRESSES

If your child’s parent/guardians live at multiple addresses, follow the steps above to list all parent/guardians at the first address. Then click button that says “No Other Legal Guardians live at this Address”. Below that, you will see a question that says “Are there Legal Guardians who Live at a Different Address?” Click the buttons that says “Yes, I want to add a Legal Guardian who Lives at a Different Address.” You can then add another family or individual who lives at a different address.

STEP 3: Medical/Dental Information

Provide essential medical and dental information about the student. You will be asked to provide any allergies, medical conditions, and medications in the additonal district forms step.

STEP 4: Emergency Contact Information

Provide contact information for individuals who should be contacted in case of an emergency. These individuals should be different from the parent(s) or guardian(s) listed in Step 2. Include names, phone numbers, and relationships to the student.

STEP 5: Requested Documents

Scan or photograph all of the required documents for enrollment, then upload them from your computer or phone using the “Choose File” button on your device. Click here for details about the Required Enrollment Documents

STEP 6: Additional District Forms

The additional district forms section of the application has buttons that allow you to open an online form that collects additional information for your enrollment application.

Each Additional District form has a Google Translate option on the top left side of the form. Use this option to translate the page if needed.

Open and complete all additional forms.

Click each button to open the online form.

Complete the form online, enter your full legal name and the current date as the electronic signature.

The top right corner has buttons to Save, Save and Print and Back. To save and close the form, click Save.

The form should show that it has been completed.

You can then click the next form to continue and follow the same steps.

STEP FOUR: Submit Enrollment Application to District

When you are done completing all six steps and all required additional district forms, click “Complete Step 6” and then “Submit Application to the District.” Then click “Submit Application” again on the window that appears.

The campus registrar will then review your application and contact you if additional information is needed.

Enroll Additional Students

You can enroll another student by clicking the ‘Click to Enroll Additional Students’ button.

After your New Student Online Enrollment application is submitted, the registrar will contact you if additional information is needed.
