Belton ISD Welcomes Christine Parks as New Chief Communications Officer
BELTON, TX — Belton ISD is thrilled to announce the appointment of Christine Parks as our new chief communications officer. With over 24 years of experience in public education, Parks brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our district. She most recently served as the chief of communications and community relations at Temple ISD and has held roles as executive director of elementary education and a principal.
“Christine's dedication to education and demonstrated leadership make her an invaluable addition to our team,” said Superintendent Dr. Malinda Golden. “With her extensive experience in public education and deep commitment to community engagement, Christine is an ideal choice for this role. Christine's ability to cultivate effective communication and relationships within a school district will be crucial as we work to strengthen connections and keep our community well-informed.”
Parks is actively involved in various organizations, demonstrating her commitment to both education and community engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University and a Master of Educational Administration from Tarleton State University.
Parks will begin her new role on Monday, August 19.
