Belton ISD Extends Spring Break One Week

Belton ISD continues to actively monitor the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in conjunction with local and federal health authorities. 

In this update, you’ll find information regarding:

  • Belton ISD extends spring break from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20.
  • All events and extracurricular activities canceled

BISD is extending spring break by one week, through Friday, March 20
This precautionary measure is being taken as we continue to assess next steps to minimize health and safety risks to the Belton community.

During this extended break, district offices will be closed and all scheduled district events should be considered canceled until further notice.

Free meals offered to all students beginning Monday, March 16
Belton ISD School Nutrition will serve grab-and-go meals twice a day to students age 18 and under during this extended break at three campus locations.

Starting March 16, breakfast will be served from 7:30-9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Meals will be served at Miller Heights Elementary, Pirtle Elementary and Southwest Elementary.

District events and extracurricular activities are canceled until further notice.
All events and extracurricular activities are considered canceled until further notice. This includes all district-sponsored UIL, athletics, fine arts, clubs, and group events.

From Belton High School - The March 14, 2020 SAT test administration at Belton High School has been cancelled. All registered students will recieve notification from CollegeBoard via email and will be contacted once a reschedule date is set.
