Belton ISD's first High School Seniors receive "Stop the Bleed" Training
On February 1, 2019, approximately 135 high school seniors were first students scheduled to complete the national “Stop the Bleed” training through Belton ISD and its partners as part of the district’s continued effort to comprehensively address safety and security,
After offering training for staff at all campuses and departments, Belton ISD has expanded the opportunity to receive training in life-saving measures to students. The goal for this school year will be to train all seniors at both Belton High School and Belton New Tech High School @ Waskow, with the hope of extending “Stop the Bleed” sessions to all students at the high school level next year.
