Belton ISD Celebrates Students Earning Prestigious American All-Star Jerseys
Belton ISD proudly announces that two football athletes will receive a well-deserved honor this afternoon at 4:15. Lake Belton High School seniors Selman Bridges and Micah Hudson will be presented with All American All-Star Game jerseys.
Superintendent Dr. Matt Smith said, “Selman and Hudson have demonstrated exceptional skill and sportsmanship. These jerseys are a symbol of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence both on and off the field. We couldn't be more proud of their achievements and are excited to see them represent our district as All-Americans in their upcoming Football All-Star Game."
Bridges is a corner for the Lake Belton Broncos football team, and Hudson is a wide receiver. Bridges will receive an Army All-American jersey and has committed to Arkansas. Hudson will receive an Under Armour All-American jersey and has committed to Texas Tech. Both students will be playing in their respective all-star games.
Participation in the American All-Star Game is a recognition of exceptional skill and commitment. These events bring together elite athletes from various regions and leagues to compete in a highly anticipated and widely watched game. It is an opportunity for young athletes to share the field with their peers, and in some cases, their sports idols.
“Students receiving All American All-Star Game jerseys is a moment of immense pride and accomplishment. These jerseys represent exceptional athletic skills and a dedication to the sport that has set them apart from their peers,” stated Belton ISD Athletic Director Sam Skidmore.
Please join us in celebrating their accomplishments and wishing them the best of luck in the game ahead! The jersey presentation will be hosted in the Lake Belton Athletic Team Room located at 9809 FM 2483 in Temple.
