Happy New Year Big Red Community!
As we look forward to welcoming students back - both those learning at-school and at-home - on Wednesday, January 6, we wanted to provide you with a few updates:
Monitoring Over Break
Over the break district administrators have stayed in close communication both internally and with our partners at the Bell County Public Health Department and other local medical and government leaders. This regular communication is an important part of our continued efforts to monitor local data and evaluate the prevention and mitigation strategies being utilized across our district.
Do Your Part
Local health authorities are clear that community spread of COVID-19 is evident in Bell County. We all must do our part with wearing masks, washing our hands and maintaining distance when possible.
Self-Screening & Reporting
Please remember to self-screen before arrival at any Belton ISD facility each day. If your student has symptoms or has had close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home and contact your campus nurse. To locate COVID-19 testing sites click here or review a list of local providers here.
Again, we look forward to seeing students on January 6. If anything should change, the district will communicate directly with families by email and post information on our website.
