Senior Athletes Announce College Decisions

Thirteen Belton High School student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers on Wednesday in a ceremony at the BHS athletic complex.

“The opportunity that these student-athletes have earned is a testament to the hard work and dedication to their sport and to their academics,” said Sam Skidmore, Belton ISD director of athletics. “We are so incredibly proud of them as a school district and are excited to be able to celebrate their accomplishments with them and their families.”

Coaches, teammates, family and friends gathered Wednesday for the milestone event in the lives of the student-athletes.

“We believe that no matter how far they travel in their lives and what great success they might have, they will always be Belton Tigers,” Skidmore said.
