COVID-19 Response Plan Scenario Change

Big Red Community:

On Monday, November 1, Belton ISD will move to Scenario 2 of our COVID-19 Response Plan.

The decision to transition is based on the district’s active case data and the incidence rate in Bell County indicating community spread has slowed significantly.

In Scenario 2, prevention and mitigation strategies remain a priority, however, restrictions have been loosened to acknowledge the slowed community spread. Please watch for more details from your school administrators about the impacts at your campus.

As we enter the cold and flu season, we encourage students and families to continue to utilize hygiene and self screening practices that have served us well throughout the pandemic. The district will continue to offer rapid testing for students and staff with a referral from Health Services or Human Resources staff.
