Current title/school? Physics/AP Physics instructor and Robotics coach at Belton New Tech High @Waskow

What inspires you to work in Belton ISD? I saw a few years ago, when I worked in another district, how much Belton ISD seemed to put teachers first and understand their role in the classroom more than many other districts.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself. I have a botany master's degree and teach a botany class at night on the CTC campus.

What was a pivotal moment in your career? Coming to New Tech, no doubt. The style of teaching here and the freedom and trust given to teachers to implement their own ideas is exceptional.

Academics? Bachelor of Science in botany/chemistry and Master of Science in botany/environmental sciences, both from Oklahoma State University.
