Belton ISD is celebrating three construction projects funded by the 2022 Bond on Thursday, September 21, 2023. The celebrations will be held at Southwest Elementary, Lake Belton Middle, and Belton High Schools. Details about the celebrations are as follows: 

Southwest Elementary School Construction Celebration will be hosted from 8-8:30am at 611 Saunders Street in Belton. The campus is gaining a gym and classroom additions that include music and art space. There will be choir performances and an interactive art activity for students.  

Lake Belton Middle School Construction Celebration will be hosted from 8:45-9:15am at 8818 Tarver Drive Road in Temple. This campus is benefitting from the 2022 Bond with a new fine arts area, locker rooms, a concession stand, and restrooms. The Lake Belton Middle School Jazz Band will perform for guests, and a photo booth will be available to commemorate the new learning space.  

Belton High School Construction Celebration will be hosted from 9:30-10am at 600 Lake Road in Belton. There will be a beam signing to mark the construction of BHS’s new career and technical education learning spaces and fine arts facility. Student performances will feature the BHS band and choir. Light refreshments will be served.
