Belton ISD schools continued its tradition of raising funds for the United Way through its Spirit Chain fundraiser. Students purchased chain links for 25 cents and built long chains over the course of two weeks which were hung around their campus. The Spirit Chain Game was held at Tiger Stadium on October 13 when students displayed their chains on the football field before the BHS game. 

A breakdown of donations are as follows: 

Elementary campuses raised $3,396.41

Middle School campuses raised $520.03

High School campuses raised $484.96

Along with contributions from staff members, Belton ISD raised close to $6,599.40 for the United Way of Central Texas.
