Erin Bass was appointed in January 2021 to fill a vacancy on the Board to represent Area 2. Bass brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for education to her current role as Board Secretary.

With a family history steeped in education and 11 years of experience as a teacher and interventionist in Mansfield ISD, Killeen ISD and Belton ISD, Bass has an intimate understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing students and educators.

Bass's involvement in the community is equally impressive. She is a former board member and active volunteer for Foster Love Bell County, an organization dedicated to supporting foster families. Together with her husband, Andy, she is deeply involved in various ministries at First Baptist Church of Belton, including the special needs ministry.

With 4 children attending Belton ISD schools, Bass is personally invested in the success of the district. Her experience as an educator, combined with her dedication to the community, makes her a powerful advocate for students, families, and teachers.

“I’m excited to be a part of Belton in a new way and really support kids, teachers and staff. There are a lot of moving parts in a school — let alone in a district — and they’re all important. I’m excited to just be there to help support them.”
