Chris Flor was elected in 2018 to serve on the Belton ISD Board of Trustees from Area 4. He is currently serving as the Board Vice President.

Flor moved with his family to Belton from Virginia in 2012. He works for CGI, a global IT consulting and managed services firm where he serves as vice president of consulting services. He has also volunteered with other local organizations, including stints on the boards for the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bell County Tax Appraisal District and the Workforce Solutions of Central Texas.

Flor grew up in Maryland and graduated from Radford University. With his wife RaeAnn, he’s raising three children who attend Belton schools.

“When we moved to Central Texas from Virginia in 2012 we scouted the area heavily from Round Rock to Waco. We quickly narrowed our search to the Belton/Temple area and developed a firm requirement of living within the Belton ISD boundaries. We were so impressed by the care for the students demonstrated by the campus administrations and teachers from all the Belton ISD schools we visited. Our children have grown and excelled in the time we have been here thanks to a truly student-centered atmosphere. We made a great choice!”
